Bill Burruss of W.H. Burruss Incorporated, Lynchburg, Virginia, received the 2007 Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) of the Year award from the Virginia REALTORS^® Land Institute (RLI) during its winter awards ceremonies of the Virginia Association of REALTORS^®, held in Richmond.

Burruss is a noted expert on land who serves on two National Association of REALTORS^® (NAR) committees representing the REALTORS^® Land Institute. He has 16 years of experience in property management, and 13 years in commercial, land, investment and residential sales. A past president of the Virginia RLI Chapter, Burruss is a 2005 graduate of the Virginia REALTORS^® Leadership Academy.
