George Domm, a farm specialist from Flint, MI, gathers 20 farm specialists for a five-day education session. This leads the group to form The Agricultural Institute, predecessor to today's REALTORS^® Land Institute.

The "Chicago 60" save the future of the Institute. In 2002, a group of 60 dedicated members traveled to Chicago to petition the National Association of REALTORS^® to financially support the Institute ensuring its survival and providing a solid foundation from which to build.
